Jackie,
Beuatiful blooms for Bloom Day! I have a weakness for orchids. I love the colors in the Coelogyne tomentosa, and the Sarochilus hartmanii is a new one to me. Lovely photos!

I am trying to figure out what an iceplant really is...

Hi Jackie,
You have some beautiful flowers in your garden! And same like others, I am quite curious with your iceplant :)

Thanks for all your comments. It seems that iceplant has spurred some questions... Iceplant is very common around here on the central coast of CA. It's freeze-sensitive, which is probably why it's not grown in most places. I'm not really sure what it's proper name is...I just always stick a cutting in the ground and off it goes. But I do believe it is in the genus Lampranthus.
